Oder als Info, falls Ihr noch am überlegen seid...

Hallo Freunde,

wir wollen gar nicht groß um den heißen Brei reden. Nach der grandiosen SSWC24 waren wir der festen Überzeugung, dass die Welt mehr SingleSpeed Events braucht und quasi danach schreit. 

Leider tut sie das nicht!

Darum kurz und knapp: trotz eurer fantastischen Anmeldungen sind wir noch Meilen weit davon entfernt, die SingleSpeed Olympix genauso durchzuführen, wie wir es bei der SSC24 gemacht haben. 

Das ist schade, lässt sich aber auch nicht ändern. Es ist und bleibt nun einmal eine kleine SingleSpeed Bubble. Was aber eigentlich auch wieder toll ist!!!

Jedoch haben wir letzte Woche bei der SSEC25 in Belgien festgestellt, dass es nicht immer +300 Leute und viel Tamtam braucht, um ein geiles Wochenende auf die Beine zu stellen!

Darum haben wir jetzt folgende Optionen:

1. wir sagen das Ganze ab und ihr bekommt alle euer Geld erstattet!

2. Back to the Roots! Wir mieten mit eurem hart verdientem Geld das Gelände in Aufenau und zelebrieren mit euch 60-70 wundervollen Menschen ein kleines aber feines SingleSpeed Wochenende!

Wenn ihr euch alle für Option 2 entscheidet, wird es folgendes geben:

- die komplette Strecke inkl. Camping, WC, Duschen, Strom, Tische & Bänke, große Pavillons und Kühlschränke zur freien Benutzung!

- kein fancy catering, sondern 2-3 große Grills die von allen family like genutzt werden können. Filterkaffee am Morgen, selbst gebackener Kuchen

- keine teure Bühne, DJ & Bands, sondern Musik am Lagerfeuer
- keine Bar mit Longdrinks, sondern kaltes Bier und lokalen Wein aus dem Kühlschrank…... für ganz kleines Geld

- einen entspannten Social-Ride mit euch allen durch die Wälder rund um Aufenau
- Sticker, Patches und unseren bekannten T-Shirt Druck

- unser geniale Lotterie mit tollen Preisen

- Kinder (und auch Hunde) sind more than welcome 

- und natürlich unsere verrückten Wettkämpfe um die und den ersten SingleSpeed Olympia-Champion zu ermitteln

Wenn ihr alle dabei bleibt und vielleicht noch 5 -10 Leute hinzukommen, dann können wir das Ganze ohne finanzielle Verluste durchführen . Verdienen wollen wir daran eh keinen Cent...aber das müssen wir euch ja nicht extra sagen.

Und falls doch ein paar Euro übrig bleiben, dann werden diese natürlich in Freibier für euch investiert!

Also wie ihr seht, alles eine Nummer kleiner und entspannter. Aber dadurch vielleicht auch etwas schöner und familiärer!? 

Das Ganze wird allerdings nur funktionieren, wenn der Großteil von euch am angemeldet bleibt. 

Jetzt liegt es an euch :) lasst uns bitte Zeitnah wissen, welche Option ihr wählt. So dass wir den Jungs vom Motocross Verein ein GO oder NO geben können.

Hello friends,


We don't want to beat about the bush. After the fantastic SSWC24, we were firmly convinced that the world needs more SingleSpeed events and is crying out for them. Unfortunately, it doesn't!

In short, despite your fantastic registrations, we are still miles away from organizing the SingleSpeed Olympix in the same way as we did with the SSC24. 

That's a shame, but it can't be changed. It is and will remain a small SingleSpeed bubble. But that's actually wonderful again too!!!

However, last week at the SSEC25 in Belgium we realized that it doesn't always take +300 people and a lot of hype to put on a great weekend!


We now have the following options:

1. we cancel the whole thing and you all get your money back!

2. back to the roots! We rent the area in Aufenau with your hard-earned money and celebrate a small but nice SingleSpeed weekend with you 60-70 wonderful people!

If you choose option 2, you will get the following:

- the complete track incl. camping, WC, showers, electricity, tables & benches, large pavilions and fridges for free use!
- no fancy catering, but 2-3 large barbecues that can be used by all family like. Filter coffee in the morning, homemade cakes
- no expensive stage and bands, but music around the campfire
- no bar with long drinks, but cold beer and local wine from the fridge for very little money
- a relaxed social ride with all of you through the forests around Aufenau
- Stickers, patches and our well-known T-shirt printing
- our ingenious lottery with great prizes
- dogs and kids are more than welcome 
- and of course our crazy competitions to determine the first SingleSpeed Olympic champion ever.

If you all stick around and maybe 5-10 more people join us, then we can run the whole thing without any financial loss. We don't want to earn a cent from it anyway...but we don't have to tell you that.

And if we do have a few euros left over, these will of course be invested in free beer for you!

So as you can see, everything is a little smaller and more relaxed. But perhaps also a little nicer and more homely as a result! 

However, the whole thing will only work if the majority of you stay registered. 

Now it's up to you :) Please let us know which option you choose as soon as possible. So that we can give the guys from the motocross club a GO or NO.
